Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Cai Be
Depart at 8:00am from Saigon to My Tho, Take a boat trip around four Islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix on Tien River. Through Xep canel to visit Mekong traditional houses at Quoi An village (make all from coconut tree). Taste honey with tea or wine; have a look at coconut collection set and see how the locals make handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Take the horse-cart on village path to Ben Truc orchard, enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to traditional music. See bees-breeding in wooden boxes at local farms. Take rowing-boat on water coconut creek. Lunch at islets (if any). Back to Mytho city Drive to Vinhlong. Making and having dinner with local family & overnight at home stay. (B, L, D)
Day 2: Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho- Homestay
Have breakfast at local people’s house. The program will stat with the visit of Cai Be colourfull floating market cruiseing among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Boat trip to see Cottage industry village: floor tile, fermented tofu making, blacksmith, rice-husking factory, sewing thatch roof, and also local activities. Brick kilns, poterry factory Enjoy local traditional music Visiting bonsai garden or orchard (nursery garden) Rowing boat on the small canal Strolling on the island or bicycling along village paths Being a farmer to work in the orchard. A delicious lunch will be served at restaurant by the river or Ba Kiet ancient house After lunch, boat will cruise deeper into the countryside & will end at around at Vinhlong . Driver continue transfer you to Can Tho. Transfer to a small village around Cai Rang district by car. Check in your home stay .Cycling or trekking around the village to experience the life style of the Mekong Delta people. Join the family for cooking. and having dinner with local family & overnight at home stay. Overnight in Caison gadern for home stay. (B, L)
Day 3: Cai Rang floating market. Can Tho – Saigon
Have breakfast at local people’s house. 7.00am, board a Sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market and a family run noodle-making factory. Witness the rural life and the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks. Discover Can Tho’s market. Lunch in enrout Can Tho. After lunch drive back to Saigon. Arrive in saigon in the afternoon, at around 16.00pm. Free and overnight in Saigon. (B, L) |
